Assessment of new swimmers

We do require squad swimmers to be able to swim correct freestyle, backstroke and basic breaststroke with a basic understanding of dolphin kick.  We also run Learn to Swim lessons for swimmers who are not quite ready for squads.

It is recommended that swimmers attend at least 75% of the training sessions offered to them, however consideration is given to their other activities such as other sports, school committments, illness and injury.
