Learn-to-Swim classes for children are held each Saturday morning between 9.00am and 12.00pm at Croydon Special Development School in Belmont Road, Croydon. There are no classes during school holiday periods.
These classes are half-hour lessons in small, structured groups in a 12.5m pool with instructors being “in the water” for most classes. When swimmers have progressed through the “top level” class, they are “promoted” to the Bridging Program at Croydon Leisure Centre 25m pool, before progressing on to Novice Squad at the 50m pool at Ringwood Aquatic Centre. Both the Bridging Program and Novice squads are held on Thursday evenings at 5pm.
Cost of lessons is $9.35 per lesson.
