Social Activities

After most Club Aggregate, swimmers and families usually gather in the Clubrooms for an informal “get together” with food and drinks usually available.  These mornings are not “fundraisers” but a small charge is made to cover costs.

From time to time, other social events such as trivia nights, bowling, movies and other outings are organised and support from swimmers and families is encouraged.  Of course the inevitable raffles and chocolate drives feature now and then to raise additional funds which go towards swimmers’ activities.

Ventures to a few selected country meets are also organised as social occasions with the emphasis on family involvement and everyone having a great time.  These are a lot of fun for everyone – except those trying to catch some sleep!!

It goes without saying that anyone wanting to involve themselves in assisting with organising this side of the Club’s activities would be more than welcome.  Talk to any Committee member if interested – you’ll get a very positive response!!

This season the Club Captains will be helping organise any social activities outside of swimming. If you have any suggestions please talk to Dannii Cornwell or Josh Guscott
